MEETING HELD ON 12th NOVEMBER 2019 AT MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS KENYA BETWEEN AMBASSADOR GITONGA AND ENVOY HONORABLE VISHNOU

The meeting begun after brief introduction. Ambassador Gitonga informed the meeting that he was given the responsibility by the Permanent Secretary to assist and advice on the application of signing Host country Agreement and Treaty between WFDP and Ministry of Foreign Affairs Kenya.

The following areas were highlighted by Ambassador Gitonga as findings by legal team:-

WFDP to state the activities already undertaken in Kenya. The president of WFDP His Excellency Ambassdor  Ekramy El Zaghat who was on official visit to Kenya from 1st to 9th  September with the collaboration of Envoy Honorable Vishnou, visited some areas to find their needs.

Ambassador Gitonga assured that he will consult with the Legal team since most of the things they had requested had already been submitted.

Envoy Hon. Vishnou informed Ambassador Gitonga that WFDP can do many things from sponsoring University Education and guaranteeing to support Government projects

The Ambassador will organize a meeting between Honorable Vishnou with the Permanent Secretary and Cabinet Secretary of Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
